Where the human came in
The Toronto collective wrote the story, directed the generations, and spent most of the time editing, rotoscoping and compositing to hide the model's inconsistencies.
Why it is not slop
The premise is built around what the tool cannot do well: a head that is supposed to look wrong. The humour and the pacing are entirely human.
