Kalshi NBA Finals ad
A deliberately chaotic thirty-second spot generated with Veo 3 for about two thousand dollars of prompting, aired during the 2025 NBA Finals.
Where the human came in
A filmmaker wrote the script, turned it into a shot list, ran three to four hundred generations to get fifteen usable clips, and cut them by hand.
Why it is not slop
The ad leans into the weirdness of the tool instead of hiding it, and the maker published the whole process. A landmark for cost, not a model for taste.
