Video & animation Human-directed
The Frost
A twelve-minute science-fiction film in which every shot started as a DALL·E 2 image, later animated.
Where the human came in
A written screenplay, a director choosing among thousands of frames, and an editor giving the stiff characters a deliberate, eerie rhythm.
Why it is not slop
Instead of hiding the artificiality, the film uses it as the texture of a frozen world. The limitation becomes style.
